Welcome

to Anna Sierpinska

Thank you for visiting my web site.

I am a mathematics educator and I work at the Department of Mathematics and Statistics of Concordia University in Montreal.

I teach mathematics and mathematics education courses.

I am presently engaged in a study of the phenomenon of frustration among students who have to take mathematics courses at the university as prerequisite to academic programs of their choice. In this study we have used a questionnaire addressed to this category of students.
To view the questionnaire click here
.
If you belong to this category of students, you are most welcome to print the questionnaire, respond to it and mail it to my address (see below).

I had been the director of the graduate program: Master in the Teaching of Mathematics in the years 1994-2002.
Presently, the director of the program is Dr. Joel Hillel.

I am the editor-in-chief of the journal: Educational Studies in Mathematics.
